Job function:

• System architect for voice- and data- integration over public cellular or PMR radio networks for the Trapeze ITCS.


• Based on the functional Lead the implementation of the functionality with internal or external development teams


• Support relevant radio integration projects for specifications and consistent system architecture


• Technical interface with radio suppliers during specification and implementation phase


• Design radio integration architecture and design-requirements based on functional requirements from the customer projects or strategic development tasks.


• Create feature specifications for voice and data communication features


• Maintain the general communication design documents of the ITCS system


• Provide technical support to internal and project steak holders.

Competencies & Accountabilities:

• Responsible for the communication architecture of the Trapeze ITCS system


• Represents voice and data communication in the architecture expert group of ITCS.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master degree in computer science , Information technology or Computer Engineering.

Required skills / experiences:

• Min 5Y experience in system design and programming of VoIP Solutions in SIP/RTP; java; java script.


• Profound knowledge in IT network engineering including virtualization and IT security.


• Good knowledge about radio communication networks and standards (Analogue, TETRA; public cellular networks prio 1)


• Very good written and spoken German and English
