The People & Culture (P&C) team’s primary focus is to build people and organizational capability by translating business strategy into people strategy and results. We are dedicated to retaining, developing, rewarding, and motivating employees through a variety of different initiatives. As part of our team’s evolution, we are establishing a global P&C Shared Services team to support our employees and our P&C team members. We are looking for a P&C Representative (Generalist) to support our UK, Dublin, and Switzerland locations, providing day-to-day administrative support for the employees and managers with appropriate support from our P&C Business Partners and your manager.

Job Responsibilities include •Answering general employee queries •Supporting the administration of benefits locally by liaising with relevant parties both internally and externally as required•Administering the leave process for employees, e.g. meeting to explain how leaves of absence work and walking through the required documentation•Working directly with the US and local payroll teams (where applicable) to ensure monthly payroll changes are processed•Generating employee letters and communications’•Managing business process changes in required systems to ensure accurate inputting and records•Reporting, tracking, and analyzing data for HR and compliance related activities •Liaising with US-based P&C functional team members and local external providers as required for items such as benefits, L&D programs, TA, compensation and Viasat policies and procedures.•Coordinate on-boarding and induction for all employees to ensure a positive employee experience.•Assist with ad hoc HR projects as required

Requirements
•3+ years in human resources or related experience •Ability to leverage strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively in all situations at varying levels of the organizations•Proven customer service skills including the ability connect with customers internally and externally•Strong time-management, detail orientation, and prioritization skills to multi-task competing requirements in a timely and accurate manner.•Excellent administration skills and ability to multitask•Ability to work in ambiguous situations and adapt quickly to change •Demonstrates personal initiative in problem-solving•Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive or confidential information•Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)•Fluency in English•Potential travel up to 10%

Preferences
•CIPD qualification or equivalent•Demonstrated experience with leaves of absence, workers’ compensation claims, etc.•Experience working across multiple geographies•Experience of working in a HR shared service center environment •Experience using Workday
