Quantitative Risk Actuaries (m/w)


Your mission



  • Various involvements in the actuarial tasks for which the Group Quantitative Risk Department is primarily responsible: - Solvency calculations (SST and TSLAMal) for the Group insurance companies - Implementing the quantitative risk controls - Implementing the ORSA and maintaining the related models - Involvement in the annual risk cycle (e.g. risk appetite definition) - Tools and quantitative methods development

  • Production of the SST and TSLAMal reports for FINMA and FOPH

  • Production of the ORSA reports related to Assura SA and Assura Basis for the - - Executive Committee and justification of the chosen hypotheses

  • Involvement in setting up and improving the methods, processes and quantitative/IT tools allowing for the implementation of these tasks with the highest degree of quality and abiding by the principles and rules of the Group and allowing also for the highest degree of documentation in relation to internal and external reviews.


Your profile



  • You have a Master diploma or a PhD in mathematics or in an equivalent quantitative subject or you are a qualified actuary (SAV or equivalent)

  • You have a first professional experience of 3 to 5 year minimum as an insurance actuary having possibly worked for a major audit company; An experience in health insurance will be considered as a major asset.

  • You have mastered numerical methodologies and big data environment for actuaries as well as programming languages (e.g. R, Python, SAS, C++, VBA) and the advanced statistical tools.

  • You are organized, flexible and can work autonomously and in teams under pressure while remaining conscious of deadlines.

  • You have a very strong sense of commitment and a very high quality requirement.

  • You have the ability to explain complex actuarial works to non-specialists in a concise and simple manner in written and oral forms.

  • Working language is French, a professional German level is required for regulatory purpose (FINMA, FOPH) as well as a very good English level.
