Supply Chain Coordinator

The Supply Chain Coordinator manages and co-ordinates all orders coming from external and internal clients. They ensure that the orders are entered appropriate into the Clinical Distribution- and Courier Systems, along with the necessary GMP documents. The position is also responsible for liaising with the warehouse pick and pack team ensuring all orders are available by the cut off time. The post holder needs to have good organisation, verbal, written and numerical skills. Accuracy is paramount.

Responsibilities:



  • Working with the responsible Distribution Project Manager and/or department (where applicable) to manage orders through Distribution Module and courier systems

  • Process orders to meet the daily deadlines

  • Ensure that all GMP documentation is included with the orders

  • Acts as a double check for order approval

  • Maintaining the orders in box

  • Completing all logistics items associated with order processing including ensuring orders are in the appointed courier system and order container when specified on the order

  • Generate proforma invoices based on approved templates where required

  • Send proforma invoices for site shipments requesting the green light

  • Complete manual pre-alerts where required

  • Operational (daily) management of courier as detailed in the Courier responsibilities matrix

  • Liaise with pick and pack to coordinate courier pick up for emergency shipments

  • Provide green light for import shipments for both Fisher Clinical Services Switzerland and Fisher Clinical Services Germany

  • Resolve and communicate associated issues for customs clearance for import

Qualifications:

  • Commercial Education Background (KV) or equivalent

  • Logistics Knowledge (courier management)

  • Computer Literacy (Microsoft Excel - ability to work with formulas)

  • Numerical Skills

  • Organization Skills

  • Ability to work against daily and monthly deadlines

  • Fluent German, Good level of English
