Job Description



  • Support key strategic initiatives such as executing the inorganic agenda of the company (mergers, acquisitions and divestitures) and act as the internal expert for finance & valuation related matters

  • Develop adequate financial models allowing disciplined, swift and informed decision making

  • Collect, document, review and pressure test the assumptions


Job Responsibilities



  • Business Development:

  • Support outside-in financial analysis, i.e. operating case / sale case, preliminary valuation of opportunities

  • Set-up and own financial analysis and valuation model through working with internal stakeholders to collect, document and review assumptions

  • Ensure each model allows running multiple scenarios and sensitivities as required

  • Own and be the expert regarding valuation standards and methodologies => develop and maintain guidelines in terms of valuation

  • Collect, communicate internally and archive benchmarks (e.g. comparable transactions, financial results / trading updates of competitors, ...)

  • Ensure alignment of business case assumptions for deals is integrated into financial planning in a timely fashion


 



  • Strategic Planning support:

  • Provide modelling expertise to support annual strategic planning process

  • Work closely with Group Control to ensure integrity of data (historical / latest forecasts)

  • Provide expertise in business modelling and support the creation of robust business case templates and participate in due diligence of key projects


 


Minimum Requirements



  • Master degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration and/or other related fields

  • Additional financial training - e.g. CFA is a plus

  • 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Equity Research or Private Equity

  • M&A experience - a must

  • Strong knowledge of Accounting, Finance & Valuation and key concepts / methodologies such as WACC, NPV, IRR, DCF, CoC/MoM

  • Strong MS Office knowledge in particular PowerPoint and Excel (formulas, charts, macro, VBA, scenario analysis)

  • Proficiency in English/ A second language is an asset

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Cultural sensitive, self-motivated and used to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
