JOB DESCRIPTION

Beckman Coulter develops, manufactures and markets products that simplify, automate and innovate complex biomedical testing. Our diagnostic systems, found in hospitals and other critical care settings around the world, produce information used by physicians to diagnose disease, make treatment decisions and monitor patients. Scientists use our life science research instruments to study complex biological problems including causes of disease and potential new therapies or drugs.


As part of the Global Sales Operations team, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of models and systems to maximize the power of data and analytics enabling our performance improvement projects, vision, and strategy.


You’ll be a team player who works with business analysts in figuring out the best solutions for complex data needs. You will then build systems and solutions to extract and transform data from multiple sources to create integrated reporting tools and dashboards to drive decision making for teams all around the world !


Your main responsibilities will include:



  • Develop and maintain databases, integrate systems and data effectively and efficiently

  • Support data mining and analysis for ad-hoc projects by developing or maximising existing dashboards and data visualization concepts

  • Design and maintain data and business intelligence applications and platforms that are internally crafted

  • Build rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources

  • Provide advice and training on the most efficient and effective tools to help stakeholders manage, analyze, and gain insight from their data

  • Create documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary


What you can bring to the team:



  • Bachelors degree with 5 years of proven experience, preferably in a life sciences, diagnostics, biotechnology or pharmaceutical organization

  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools (such as SQL Server, Power BI, Domo, Tableau)

  • Strong experience using the Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS / SSRS / SSAS)

  • Excellent working knowledge on PowerBI (DAX): not only as a user, but as a developer

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage large quantities of data and must be comfortable with CRM and other sales efficiency technologies

  • Proven creative and critical thinking aptitude and ability to build sales, financial, or compensation models/scenarios
