We are bringing a new financial services paradigm to the digital asset economy. In scope of our growth plans we are seeking for a Head of Credit as part of our Chief Risk Office team.

In the Head of Credit function, you will be responsible for the following:

• Overall responsibility for the credit control and credit admin function.


• Perform credit assessment on clients and collateral.


• Prepare and present credit and counterparty limit requests to the appropriate credit authority holder.


• Establish credit documentation in cooperation with Legal.


• Administer credit limits in the core banking system and the relevant monitoring applications.


• Monitor performance of the loan portfolio, including execution of margin call / close-out process.


• Report to ALCO and the Executive Management Team on a periodic basis.


• Further develop the Credit and Counterparty Risk policy framework and related Credit guidelines.


• Support development of credit monitoring tools.


• Provide periodic credit training.


• Work closely with all levels of management to support effective credit risk-based decision making.

For you to become part of SEBA’s journey, we require the following set of experience:

• University graduate with minimum 10 years in a credit risk management role of a financial institution.


• Exemplary credit risk management, analytical and problem solving skills, complemented by commercial acumen.


• Experience across different counterparties (individuals, corporates, institutionals, etc), lending and trading products (cash-flow based, collateralized, derivatives), and geographies (emerging and developed markets).


• Basic understanding of crypto-currency markets.


• Proven track record in developing credit risk management frameworks and participating in or leading technology-based risk management solutions.


• First-hand experience with collateral valuation and rating models


• Good communication and presentation skills.


• Ability to influence and gain commitment at all organizational levels.


• Fluent in English and advanced German language skills


• Advanced MS Excel skills.
