Your team

Our Graduate Programme, which comes with a permanent contract, includes on- and off-the-job components, placing the emphasis on teamwork but also exploring each individual's specific skillset, as well as furthering their development and setting specific objectives.

As a member of our Graduate Programme, you will develop your business know-how by working alongside accomplished professionals. Your training will be complemented by a professional certification relevant to the area of business of your assignment (in this case AZEK FMO).

Our programme will enable you to develop the interpersonal and self-leadership skills required in your future career as well as giving you the opportunity to build a network of peers in the company both at our Geneva head office and abroad.

Your role

The Operations and Support team comes under the supervision of the Deputy COO of Pictet Wealth Management.  The team is composed of an Applications and Support team as well as a Middle Office dedicated to operational and tax support for our front staff and in some circumstances our clients in Switzerland and abroad. The position will be in Middle Office Operational Support, in the product implementation area.

The programme lasts 24 months and will allow you to rotate in the Middle Office as well as in two departments of our Technology & Operations Division.

You will spend the first six months with Middle Office Operational Support to become acquainted with the various tasks of the team and, more specifically, to gain an overview of our product implementation activities. You will also be involved in the day-to-day work relating to the products/services in scope for this programme: client reporting, global reporting and global custody.

You will then move to our Technology & Operations Division to enable you to explore in some depth the operational aspects linked to these products and services:

  • T&O – Information & Reporting Platform (producing reporting and providing support for business lines and covering all kinds of report including financial statements, advices, customised reporting, etc.).

  • T&O – Client Onboarding (coordinating with different T&O operational teams during the setting up of client accounts and/or structures in the areas of global custody, global reporting and funds).

These assignments will expose you to a broad range of topics and local specificities. You will interact not only with our Front colleagues but also with our operational teams in Geneva and at our Group companies.

HR will offer regular feedback to ensure that you make solid progress and come through the programme successfully. You will also attend in-house workshops that provide an understanding of the complex, competitive and constantly changing environment of the private banking world.

At the end of the programme you will have the requisite skills to become an expert in operational support primarily relating to reporting products, but also global custody and global reporting services. You will acquire sound knowledge to lead onboarding projects dedicated to these activities and provide support to our team.

Your profile

  • Master’s degree in Management from a top business school or an equivalent institution (e.g. EPFL/EPFZ).

  • At least six months' experience (and less than two years’) experience in a consulting or financial services company (including internships, temporary roles, etc.).

  • Thorough in your work, able to operate on your own without difficulty and with a persevering nature. Analytical and presentation skills as well as a capacity to distil information efficiently.
