For our Swiss subsidiary in Global Human Health based in Lucerne we are currently looking for a Brand & Customer Manager, Diabetes (m/f/d) who will perform a critical role in the Diabetes cross-functional Scrum team and will be responsible for analysing customer and field insights into strategic plans and building action plans accordingly (full-time, indefinite).


As product owner, your primary responsibility will be to plan and ensure the execution of the marketing strategy. The focus will be to grow the existing product families and ensure the planning and execution of the brand strategy.


On this position you will play an important role in the cocreation of regional digital campaigns as part of the initiative “Diabetes Digital First”. Besides the marketing strategy, you will be responsible for additional crucial tasks such as demand plan, financial forecasting and business review presentations. On this role you will work together with governmental institutions, health authorities and representatives from cantons and you will lead all aspects of market building and brand development to maintain and optimize our positions in the different markets. Your role will also include leading and leveraging the cross-functional team resources. Together with the team you will execute key activities by using agile marketing principles.


THE PRIMARY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:



  • Develop a high understanding of the customers and stakeholders related to the Diabetes Portfolio: collect and collate customers’ needs and understand competitive environment. Develop and implement stakeholder plans.

  • Analyze the local market trends and identify commercial opportunities for our brands based on customers’ insights.

  • Plan and implement the Diabetes marketing strategy, including the adaptation of global/regional plans to country’s regulations/needs.

  • Provide innovation through testing of new marketing channels, new types of content and new digital channel execution strategies as innovative ways of interacting with the customers. Develop omnichannel marketing strategies.

  • As a Product Owner, coordinate key strategic activities within the cross functional team.

  • Elaborate sales forecast in line with product lifecycle, market environment and product strategy.

  • Plan promotional budget expenses at best in order to maximize investments, respecting product strategy and company’s guidelines.

  • Proactively liaise and collaborate with global internal stakeholders, such as regulatory affairs to ensure timely label updates supporting the product strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Master's Degree in Economics, Natural Sciences or Health Sciences. PhD would be preferred.

  • Swiss Pharmaceutical Market Experience is necessary.

  • 2 to 5 years relevant business experience, ideally in the development of Marketing Plans for Rx pharmaceutical products, as well as forecasting.

  • Digital multichannel or omnichannel marketing experience. Experience in working with digital channels for patients and Health Care Professionals, including content creation.

  • Experience in Diabetes sales or marketing is advantageous.

  • Ideally, experience working with agile methodologies (SCRUM, Design thinking, etc.). Certified Scrum Product Owner is a plus.

  • Proficient German and English knowledge, both written and spoken. French knowledge is advantageous.

  • Strong communication & collaborative skills and the ability to effectively work both independently and within a team environment.

  • Good presentation skills.

  • Business and financial acumen; ability to think strategically and to solve complex problems.

  • Self-motivated driver, able to work autonomously.

  • Demonstrates initiative, growth mindset.
