The FMI is looking for a dynamic and interactive person to function as Assistant to the Director. Do you enjoy working within a vibrant international research environment, have strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize and to think independently? In this service-oriented role, both to the director and the organization, your insight, judgement and skills will enable you to contribute effectively in a diverse population.

In addition to the daily tasks of the director’s office, you will support senior recruitments, promotions and nominations for awards. Further you will coordinate and support internal and external reviews, and the organization of events.

Profile

• Excellent English and German, both verbal and written.


• Academic or commercial education (MSc, KV or equivalent).


• Experience in supporting senior management, ideally in an academic or research environment.  


• Strong digital skills with experience in office and task management software.


• Strong communication and organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.


• Intellectual flexibility and willingness to grow.
