Head of Infrastructure & Life Cycle Management (m/f/d)


The Head of Infrastructure & Life Cycle Management (m/f/d) in conjunction with the Director Engineering Tech-Ops EMEA, will establish, develop, and lead a team that will co-ordinate and facilitate In-Life projects across EMEA. The Head of Infrastructure & Life Cycle Management will work to ensure projects are delivered on time, correctly and to budget. They will clearly communciate project status and business risks to all key stakeholders. Also, with all key stakeholders, they will evolve the GDC EMEA asste life cycle and replacement strategy. They will work closely with our suppliers to enhance our relationship and ensure better buying power. They will also provide a standard approach to project structure, documentation, delivery, and asset management across EMEA and the position will be based in Frankfurt am Main.


 


Your responsibilities



  • As required, carry out In-Life Project Management responsibilities

  • Establish, develop, and lead, a new EMEA team that will deliver a scalable delivery project management approach for In-Life projects

  • Evolve the asst life cycle strategy in conjunction with key stakeholders including Technical Operations EMEA, Design & Engineering, Finance, and the Regional Directors

  • Mentor site teams on life cycle management including consistent document development

  • Review and approve life cycle replacement business cases, developed by site teams, before onward issue to senior management for approval

  • Ensure sites have detailed and robust life cycle replacement planning (mid and long term) in place including asset replacement dates

  • Support Regional Directors in developing 10-year site life cycle replacement plan

  • Ensure quality of asset data in the company asset management system is tracked, reported and improved (by regional teams) on an ongoing basis

  • Define, implement, train and own asset management policies across EMEA

  • Work with the Global, EMEA and Regional teams in determining a consistent asset naming, categorisation and upload standards

  • In conjunction with the EMEA and Regional Procurement teams, regularly review subcontractors KPI performance with a view of consistency of service, driving cost efficiencies and where possible consolidation of contracts

Your profile



  • Experience of working with a large multinational company with significant regional operations

  • Proven track record of delivering large complex projects in live operational areas

  • Proven track record in establishment, development and leading multi-region project management teams

  • Demonstrable experience of fundamental project management principles

  • Comprehensive experience of owning and operating CAFM systems

  • Ability to teach and guide team members through changing environments

  • Abiltiy to prepare, present and summarise information to all audience types

  • Willing and able to travel

  • Experience of working in a European multi-cultural environment

  • Working knowledge of Plan Do Check Act (Deming cycle) highly desirable

  • Recognised European Health and Safety Qualification highly desirable

  • Proficient in English language both written and verbal

  • Secong European language written and verbal desirable
