What's the role?


Join our interdisciplinary team in Corporate Research and Technology investigating the future of our customers and the construction industry through our engineered solutions. You will be working on innovative technology and collaborate closely with our leadership and our experts across R&D and business units. You will have the chance to work on an innovative new laser-based measuring system for accurate localization, what is being used in combination with other sensors like camera systems and IMU’s.


Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for at least 6 months

What does the role involve?


As intern in our department you’ll be part of a diverse team which works on the future of construction. You will work closely with our experts on the development of an innovative new laser-based localization system. Depending on your interests, you can focus on mechanical design, optics, electronics design, embedded IMU sensor-fusion, UI-development, embedded programming or algorithm development.

What you need is:



  • Current Master student in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Engineering, Physics or related studies

  • Experience in one or more of the following fields: Embedded hard- and software design, optics, PCB design, sensor-fusion, control theory, computer vision, augmented/mixed reality, UI-design

  • Good programming skills in C, Matlab

  • Strong communication skills, with excellent English and interpersonal skills (German skills advantageous)

  • A proactive approach and self-reliant personality
