Role Summary:

Work strategically leading a small team in a fast growing medical instrument manufacturing business to drive physical and systematic changes in the material flow process and ensure production targets are achieved.




Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead fulfillment of all customer orders for medical instruments and spare parts, providing detailed fulfillment forecast to manufacturing and Regional Commercial Operations function
  


• Reports production build plans and forecasts to senior management highlighting variances to operating plans
  


• Manages finished goods inventory levels globally in warehouses
  


• Supports the site manager to define, prioritize and track closure of fulfillment issues in supply chain
  


• Influence and communicate well with all levels of the organisation including, acting as primary owner for the product portfolio
  


• Working closely with the product forecasting process and flow down from regional commercial teams to manufacturing teams and reviewing/communicating forecast accuracy
  

Qualifications/Requirements:

• MBA or Master Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent knowledge or experience
  


• Proven experience in Materials Planning and Execution
  


• Experience in leading a team, delegating and developing skills and measuring performance
  


• Ability to work under pressure, to deadlines and to continuous improvement
  


• Oracle knowledge and experience of operating an MRP Experience in dealing daily with contract manufacturers as well as inhouse production and logistics functions
  


• Lean Manufacturing Experience, including leading AWOs
  


• Proficient in Windows
  


• Six Sigma certification is an advantage
