Maintains current Advanced Process Control applications.
Sets up new Advanced Process Control applications and quality estimators where attractive.
Act as project leader for Real Time Optimizer implementation.
Independently manages the entire portfolio of APC applications in the refinery. Uses internal & external resources where appropriate.
Manages the transition from existing SMOC (Shell) applications to PACE (Yokogawa).
Coaches process engineers & operating staff to become more conversant with APC.
Qualifications
Master degree (or equivalent) in chemical, process, or mechanical engineering.
5 to 10 years experience in refining in an operational or technical support function.
Several years of practical experience in an advanced process control function on a manufacturing site.
Has good knowledge of basic process control.
Has good working knowledge of key refining processes (distillation, hydrotreating, reforming, thermal conversion, utilities, oil movements).
Good level in both French and English.
