The Züblin Group is a pan-European company in the field of motion detectors. Our customers are
electrical planners, electrical installers, architects as well as private persons of the electrical
wholesale, who are looking for a modern electrical installation for comfort and energy efficiency. M.
Züblin AG belongs to the Belgian Niko Group, which has been setting new standards for switches,
sockets and building automation systems for almost 100 years and currently employs around 700
people throughout Europe.


We are searching for an entrepreneurial personality to join our rapidly growing team as a


Product Manager – Sensors


This position is located in our Niko’s office in Wallisellen near Zurich.


Responsibilities



  • Identify the needs of the targeted customers/segments in close cooperation with the sales
    organizations in Niko’s three sales regions: Central, Nordic and West.

  • Monitor competition and market trends to be at the forefront of the market development.

  • Streamline and develop a product line of indoor and outdoor sensors to gain further growth in
    the targeted markets.

  • Develop business cases to prioritize the right products for the product line.

  • Specify product requirements for product development and sourcing partners, and ensure
    updated product documentation for the portfolio.

  • Develop launch strategy of products and work closely together with Sales and Channel
    Marketing departments on the implementation.

  • Manage the life cycle of the products in the product line – ensure a streamlined phase in and
    phase out of products.


Requirements



  • Bachelor degree ideally in the electrical or electronic sector, or a similar competence level
    from experience. An additional commercial education is a plus.

  • At least 3 years work experience in a related role in a technical and commercial environment.
    Experience in the sensor and/or lighting business or related businesses would be a big
    advantage.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.

  • Open and cooperative character, able to interact closely with external customers/partners as
    well as internal colleagues across departments – much of the teamwork will be remote.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, high energy and positive attitude, solution oriented.

  • Strong analysis and commercial skills.

  • Available for travelling in Switzerland and across Europe.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and German, oral and written.
