With its 1500 employees at 14 locations in Switzerland, the company guides some 1,2 million civil and military flights a year safely and efficiently through Europe's most complex airspace. To ensure that we continue to fulfill this task in the future, we are seeking a/an:

Application Owner

YOUR TASK

• Ensure all activities concerning a specific change/project, between people in the area of maintenance, end users or its representatives, software developers and suppliers


• Develop and execute software verification plans and system quality assurance procedures


• Actively participate in the development of processes. Identify and recommend process improvements


• Actively provide guidance and governance by ensuring the solution is consisten, scalable, maintainable and harmonized


• Provide onsite support in preventive and corrective mainteance task/System and User Acceptance Testing


• Investigate technical incidents and ensure 3rd level maintenance support in cooperation with the maintenance and engineering staff, and escalate as necessary to third-parties


• Act as contact person for change managers regarding the planning and implementation of minor to major changes


• Act as a liaison and ensure integration between the supplier, internal project team, internal management, and customer project teams and management

YOUR PROFILE

• Engineering degree ETH/FH or equivalent with 10+ years working experience 


• Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to follow a modern agile approach


• Familiar with Service Oriented Architecture, Web services, Enterprise Service Bus and proven experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments


• Sound experience in project and application management, agile development with external suppliers, as well as in testing


• Team spirit with strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills


• Mother tongue German, good knowledge of English (spoken and written), French would be a plus


• Willingness to travel occasionally to branch offices (Switzerland) and suppliers (Europe)
