Head of Software Services (w/m)

 

Key Responsibilities

• Technical, organizational and personnel management of the Software Services business unit


• Development and definition of the strategic orientation of the software division together with the Head of CC Software Developments


• Budget responsibility for the CC Software Services


• Responsible for the definition of the software product roadmap and for the ongoing flow of value of the product portfolio with the SW portfolio manager and the product owners


• Definition of the software landscape and roadmap with product management


• Responsible for the delivery of the promised software packages (releases) with the defined scope and at the defined time with the release manager


• Responsible for the area of Software Operation & Services for the topics ICT, DevOps, Licensing, Documentation


• Coordination, consultation, planning and coordination of requirements with CC Automation, Bending, Cutting, Tube


• Coordination with the Solution Center to support customers in software customizations

 

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with years of relevant experience


• Experience in managing an organization with a strong background in agile software development practices and leading agile teams


• Good sense for business context and modern mindset


• Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment


• Strong communication skills, commitment and willingness to work in an agile environment


• Fluent in English and advanced knowledge in German is a must
