We are recruiting a


Brand Leader Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolism (CVRM)


Our Swiss Marketing Company is in the Top 10 within the ethical pharmaceutical market and is a leader in Cardiovascular and Metabolic Diseases. As a Brand Leader in the Business Unit Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolism (CVRM), you’ll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific and commercial capabilities to make a positive impact in the lives of people with CV, Renal, and Diabetes diseases. You’ll also play a pivotal role leading the commercialization of key upcoming brand and indication launches over the next few years.


Your main tasks



  • Preparing commercial launch plans for key upcoming brand and indication launches

  • Leading the cross-functional Brand Team and ensuring close collaboration between Marketing, Sales Force, Medical, Regulatory and Market Access

  • Developing yearly Brand Plan both from a strategic as well as an operational level, delivered in the highest quality and rolled out effectively across the organization

  • Analyzing local market and competitive dynamics, incorporating new inputs continuously and building long-range forecasts for brands in the Portfolio

  • Presenting regularly our business results vs. budget, market understanding and insights to Senior business leaders at all levels in the organization

  • Planning of Marketing spend in current and outer years ensuring minimal variance vs budget

  • Leading multi-channel Marketing mix and rolling out key projects developed with cross-functional input including promotional material, congress activity, events for HCPs etc.

  • Close collaboration with Sales Force to better understand their needs and develop appropriate training for their benefit

  • Representing AstraZeneca and growing advocacy for CVRM Team by strengthening ties with local and national opinion leaders


Your profile



  • Higher level education (e.g. Masters/PhD) in Science or Business

  • Pharmaceutical commercial experience (min. 2 years) with strong performance track record

  • Marketing and/or sales leadership experience in Diabetes, Heart Failure, and/or Chronic Kidney Disease

  • Strategic marketing capabilities

  • Rigorous commercial business sense

  • Leadership experience

  • Customer-focused with interest in building relationships

  • Excellent communication, presentation, moderation, training and negotiation skills

  • Experience in relationship and stakeholder management

  • Curious personality and good cross-functional team player

  • Excellent organization skills

  • High level of motivation and proactivity

  • Proficient in operating Microsoft Office

  • Strong working proficiency in German and English (min. B2 level
