COMET Technologies USA is the headquarters as well as an important sales, distribution and service hub for the COMET Group. From this modern facility, we provide our innovative COMET X-ray and ebeam source technology and portable X-ray systems to leading manufacturers, research labs and government sites within North and South America.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of nine (9) engineers and technicians to develop custom RF matching network products for plasma process tools.


• Develop a product portfolio and technical solutions for a specific market segment. Interface with customers to get engineering requirements and build relationships. Assist in the creation of product technical strategies and technology roadmaps.


• Help develop RF and electrical design standards for COMET auto-match products. Identify and allocate resources to staff projects for internal and external customers.


• Develop and mentor direct reports to promote individual professional growth. Participate in the factory release of products developed by your team.


• Participate in the technical direction of matching network products worldwide. Help develop product test and reliability standards for COMET products.


• Perform annual and periodic performance evaluations as well as regular one-on-one meetings with each member of your team. 

Experience, Education, and Skills Required:

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field and three (3) years of experience as an RF Engineer/ Architect or a related Electrical Engineering occupation.

Experience in:

• High frequency electromagnetics, radiofrequency microwave system design;


• High frequency product development for semiconductor industry;


• ANSYS HFSS, Q3D, Designer, Keysight ADS, Matlab;


• Test and measurement equipment:


• Vector Network Analyzer, Impedance Analyzer, Power Meter, Voltage Current Sensor, Signal Generator;


• knowledge of oscilloscopes and logic analyzers; and,


• Designing auto-matching networks for semiconductor.
