Product Engineer (f/m/d) GNSS Networks & Reference Stations

• Contribute to product creation and life cycle activities of our existing and future software products


• Develop product specification and perform quality control


• Application of latest-generation testing methods, software tools, and test automation, ensuring solutions achieve Leica Geosystems’ high-quality standards


• Responsible for diagnosing issues, solving complex problems, and providing detailed technical analysis and descriptions


• Analyse and understand todays and future market needs and technology trends and assist to translate these into successful product development plans


• Collaborating with Product Management and the R&D team to drive the solution in an Agile Project Management environment


• Providing product documentation, training and support materials for our worldwide sales and support network

 

This is you

• BSc or MSc degree in Geodesy, Geomatics or related disciplines


• Experience in contributing to software development projects, preferably as Product Owner


• Experience in GNSS positioning technologies (RTK, PPP)


• Solid knowledge of geodesy, GNSS systems, GNSS error budget, and GNSS network solutions


• Affinity to IT and knowledge of IT networks and IT trends 


• Self-managed, self-starter able to work in fast-paced, changing and international environments


• Structured working style with ability to solve complex problems


• Good analytical skills with an ability to think clearly and logically


• Solution oriented, dynamic, flexible and innovative attitude


• Proficient in English (written and spoken), German is a benefit
