General Description


We are looking for a Senior HR Training and Development Specialist who will support the Global Head of the Unit to guarantee a positive employee experience through integrated talent management solutions.


The Training & Development unit translates the bank’s strategy and business objectives in an integrated talent strategy It creates, promotes and fosters individual and organisational effectiveness by developing and offering a comprehensive catalogue of activities and programs.


The unit ensures that learning and development needs are effectively met and guarantees a high-quality development lifecycle, from induction to leadership programmes. 


Main responsibilities



  • Create, develop and roll-out training and development programs for the organization in both technical skills and personal growth area

  • Communicate and coordinate with internal subject matter experts and external providers to ensure that learning content and resources are created, updated and delivered as planned

  • Promote utilisation of on-line learning solutions

  • Assist the Head of the Unit to design, develop and implement talent development programs and processes (including strategic workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, performance management and people development solutions) to improve individual and organisational performance

  • Work closely with line managers, HR Business Partners and local HR units to assess, identify, engage and develop our employeesAssess training and development needs and provide recommendations to ensure continuous improvement in people development by integrating industry talent development trends and best practices

  • Promote initiatives to support the development of our corporate culture coherently with the company’s mission and vision

  • Design, implement and manage human resources assessment tools (e.g. for performance and potential evaluation, 360 feedback, definition of KPIs, etc.).

  • Assist the Head of the Unit in process re-design to support effective talent management process and ensure intended outcomes are met and exceeded

  • Define the training and development policies and regulations according to strategy and group requirements


Skills and experience



  • University degree in human resources, organizational development, psychology, economics or another relevant field. Master (e.g. in Human Capital Management) considered a plus

  • Minimum previous experience of 8 years in the Training and Development area ideally in the financial industry

  • Demonstrated experience in designing, developing and implementing training frameworks and talent programs

  • Curiosity and passion for talent development topics

  • International mindset and multicultural experience

  • Very good interpersonal and collaboration skills; experience of working globally and collaboratively with stakeholders across functions and countries

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills; able to manage priorities and workflow with minimal oversight, in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment

  • Client and people oriented

  • Excellent English skills (mandatory); able to thoughtfully structure key messages, information and presentations with clarity and impact

  • Proficient with MS Office
