To reinforce our Polymer Business, our sales team in Winterthur (Switzerland) is looking for a

Senior Sales Engineer Polymer (m/f)

Your tasks

• Global sales responsibility for foam technology (EPS, XPET & ePP extrusion technology)
  
  
  
  • Proactively explore the market for new polymer foam projects
  
  
  • Confidently present our products and their applications in front of customers
  
  
  • Develop technical solutions and concepts, in cooperation with R&D and engineering
  
  
  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals and subsequent contracts
  
  
  • Negotiate and achieve order intake whilst following Sulzer’s ethical standards and rules
     
  
  


• Marketing responsibility
  
  
  
  • Propose sales and marketing strategy, based on market insights
  
  
  • Execute marketing strategy in collaboration with marketing team
  
  
  • Represent the polymer business at fairs, hold presentations at conferences
     
  
  


• Product line management
  
  
  
  • Participate in regular sessions with process and mechanical engineers, project managers and R&D department
  
  
  • Support optimization ideas to improve processes, cost structure, etc.
     
  
  


• Front sales management
  
  
  
  • Train and utilize front sales managers in other locations
  
  
  • Contribute actively to exchange knowledge between our international locations
     
  
  


• Support reporting of sales pipeline and market information to Sulzer Chemtech Management

Your profile

• Chemical or mechanical engineer with university degree


• Several years of experience in complex, international sales of polymer technology


• Engaged business person with excellent communication and negotiation skills


• Able to establish sustainable relationship with our international customers, to interpret customer requirements and to close contracts successfully


• Integrity, credibility and ability to collaborate within a multicultural organization


• Fluent in English, any other language is an advantage


• International travel requirements: 30-50% (post-Covid)
