What's the role?

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, experienced Supply Manager in our global team to develop, drive and implement the supply strategy world-wide for the major supply category Components & Standard Parts. You will lead the “virtual production” of this product category of BU Installation Systems.

What does the role involve?

As a Supply Manager Category, you assure the supply of the products for existing and future demand holistically.
You prepare for the future by creating the supply chains for new products considering market and product analysis, search and qualification of suppliers, contracting and ramping-up supply. You further develop the existing supply chains to match new requirements and to increase productivity. For the key suppliers of your category, you take the lead buyer role within HILTI.
In doing so, you manage the stake holders (Business Unit, cross-function, regional organization, etc.) and lever the global organizational network.

In BU Installation Systems, all products are developed and quality controlled but more than 90% of the products are purchased from Third Party. Supply Managers play a very important role here.

What you need is:

• You graduated in engineering or business administration and have deep going technical expertise


• You bring a can-do attitude and excellent communication skills in English


• You have gained solid skills and broad experience in supply management on the job for minimum 5 years in a global acting business


• You bring a holistic view on supply chains considering raw material supply and production as well as the performance in regard of quality, availability, cost and innovation


• You’re able to manage stake holders and handle change


• While you are result oriented you seek for solutions
