Your Role
Working alongside 2 of the company’s Co-Founders, the Executive Chairman and the Head of Partnerships and Marketing, the position entails expanding H55’s customer base and accelerating commercial development in Europe and USA for the company’s electric propulsion and battery management systems. Specifically, this includes:
Elaborating upon and implementing sales strategy
Conduct customer analysis, identification and first contacts
Engaging and contacting decision makers --- across all levels of management and technical teams
Analyze the technical and business needs of customers and design offerings
Technological solutions and business models proposals
Execute technical feasibility study, evaluation of resources and customer technical proposal
Structuring the offer
Business modeling, pricing, scheduling and deliverables
Final contract: preparing commercial agreements, negotiations
Overseeing, managing and coordination of the entire customer journey
Continued management of customer relationship
Experience and Qualifications
Highly technical / engineering experience in aviation / aerospace with direct client management / engagement
Additionally, minimum 5 years in as a sales engineer with project management competencies
Education: preferably in electrical engineering or technical science discipline, ideally backed-up by an MBA
A demonstrable appreciation of the company’s key competitive strengths --- technology, pricing,
manufacturing capabilities, plans to scale, etc. --- and being able to use these qualifications for
identifying, engaging and increasing the company’s customer base
Ability to develop a strategic level sales plan based on knowledge of the Company’s products and programs
Proven track record in business development within the aerospace and/or aviation sector:
market definition, proposition development, go-to-market planning and deal closure
Experience in working with complex, high-value solution sales within the aerospace and/or aviation sector
At ease and comfortable working with fast commercially growing small technology companies where product and technology offerings still need to be proven and illustrated on a mass scale within the industry
Capabilities to seek out interesting potential customers, develop contacts and grow opportunities with a sense of urgency
