The Challenge

 

Global Quality Management (GQM) is a cross functional activity with a high level of complexity. Our challenges include dynamic global quality market expectations, diverse and evolving global quality standards and managing the high level of interest in our activities from regulatory authorities and customers. Given DNP’s strong emphasis on Quality leadership in our markets we value our role in protecting and enhancing the DNP image and reputation.

 

The Global Quality Manager: Quality Control will be at the centre of these activities, potentially interacting with multiple DNP entities (e.g. market segments) and global departments. The role holder will also support our manufacturing units in locations around the world.

 

The core Global Quality team is located in Kaiseraugst, Switzerland.

 

The Position

 

• Global Business Process Owner for QC processes; especially in view of the upgrade of the current global LIMS


• Support the DNP Quality Control (QC) subject matter expert community


• Develop and implement harmonized quality control standards, methodology and analytical equipment approaches for the Operations M&T (Nutritional Ingredient) sites to optimize performance and efficiency


• Contact point for OPS QC managers for questions related to process, compliance and analytical methods


• Hands-on support and guidance to Operations M&T sites with respect to QC


• Coordinate provision of analytical data to support regulatory submissions


• Establish, qualify and maintain network of third party laboratories to support QC activities.


• Review regulatory and industry guidance relating to QC and assess for impact on DNP activities


• Maintain oversight of the DNP stability programs


• Act as internal auditor on our production sites

Your Profile

 

• MSc in Science / Technical Discipline (or equivalent qualification)


• Proven experience within Quality Management in a Life Science industry > 8 years including leadership role(s) in a QC environment


• Superior technical knowledge relating to quality control standards, methodology and analytical equipment


• Superior knowledge of quality control GMPs applicable to Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (e.g. ICH Q7)


• Experience in leading the delivery of quality improvement initiatives


• Experience in auditing against GMP standards


• Good communication skills (internal and external)


• Experience of working with diverse and cross-functional teams


• Fluency in English, other languages are assets


• Willingness to travel
