For Drug Product Services (DPS), our successful Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) branch, located in Basel, Switzerland and Stein, Switzerland, we have exciting opportunities. Become part of a group that enables its customers to meet some of the greatest challenges in patient treatment and join us by applying for the position as Supply Demand Planner.


Key responsibilities:



  • Execute supply planning cycle including creation and updating of supply plans and identification of key supply decisions


  • Ensure input from all relevant stakeholders is incorporated into supply plan


  • Prepare supply planning input for internal and global Drug Product Services network including  monthly sales as well as operations planning and annual budget cycle


  • Create and maintain supply related KPIs and use as basis for supply planning improvement initiatives


  • Liaise with all relevant stakeholders and functions to ensure supply plan represents consensus view of future supply plans and actions


  • Ensure supply plan is put and maintained in relevant supply systems including e.g. SAP IBP and used to drive related material, labor and asset capacity plans


  • Maintain all supply related parameters and master data in relevant planning systems



Key requirements:



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Management


  • Good work experience in supply chain


  • Ability to influence both Supply Chain and functional leaders to support production optimization recommendations


  • Good communication and presentation skills


  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics (KPI’s) and identify issues through root cause analysis


  • Aptitude in utilization of scheduling and Business Intelligence systems to extract data and generate reports


  • Fluency in English and German
