For our “Advanced Manufacturing SW” department, headquartered in Switzerland with additional teams in Italy, Spain, and Poland, we are looking for a highly skilled professional to help us transform our vision of smart manufacturing into reality.


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Act as a System Architect, being responsible for defining and communicating a technical architecture and vision for our CAM & Robot SW development teams.

  • Lead technically our engineering teams, evaluate, and select the appropriate technologies and frameworks, as well as define the suitable testing procedures and tools.

  • Design the Continuous Delivery process, evaluate, select the suitable CI/CD tools and Dev-Ops technologies.

  • Support the respective Product Owner and Requirements Engineers with the Requirement Formulation, the Task Analysis, and the Product Increment Planning.

  • Support the development team at the refinement of system requirements, the definition of subsystems, with their respective interfaces, and promote the common understanding of the system functionality and deployment.

  • Work in an agile manner together with the Bystronic’s multinational, near-shoring teams using our modern SCRUM/KANBAN procedures and collaboration tools.


 


Qualifications:



  • University degree (BSc, FH) in a relevant field, preferably Computer-Engineering or -Science; a higher, academic title will be considered a significant plus.

  • Fundamental knowledge of 3D computer graphics technologies or experience in CAD/CAM application development will be considered a significant plus.

  • Excellent knowledge of C# .NET technologies; knowledge of Javascript, Typescript, or WebAssembly will be considered a significant plus.

  • Skills in designing and testing cloud applications, preferably using the MS Azure.

  • Knowledge of modelling languages (i.e., UML), architectural frameworks (i.e., SAFe, ARC42), and relevant tools (i.e., Enterprise Architect)

  • Working proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
