Medical Education Laboratory Coordinator - Spine

Reporting to the spine medical education manager, you will be working within the T&E team and collaborate primarily with our distribution center in Heerlen, marketing functions, the spine medical education coordinator and the different anatomical laboratories across Europe.


You will be responsible to manage, organize and execute the anatomical lab logistic for all spinal anatomical workshops during medical education surgeons’ courses.


 


A Day in the Life


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.



  • Partner with the medical education manager to determine the medical education plan for the fiscal year (lab related)

  • Collaborate with the anatomical laboratories to confirm the dates of each event, book the specimen according to courses criteria’s and be provided with a quote and be able to advise on labs selection

  • Be able to negotiate and discuss costs related to the labs

  • Define and identify with the product managers the different stations that will be run during each course and book the needed material with our distribution center. Ensure that all required material and equipment is available (get in touch with the relevant vendors)

  • Book all required material needed at the lab: lead vests, gloves, gowns, scalpel, all generic instrumentation…

  • Provide to the medical education manager slides dedicated to the course organization

  • Responsible to identify and allocate staff member for assisting faculty at each table

  • Interact with faculty during the event

  • Welcome the participants at the lab, introduce the lab session to the attendees and explain with clear guidelines the roll out of the full session

  • Responsible to manage the set-up and the cleaning of the material of the lab for each session

  • Accountability to ensure that all material is shipped back to where it belongs

  • During busy period, be able to support the medical education spine coordinator: Cvent, Ecats…


 


Must Have:



  • At least 2 years of experience within medical devices environment

  • Experience in project management, and multiple stakeholder engagement

  • Able to plan, organize, monitor and conclude a project

  • Ability to manage several projects at the same time

  • Ability to engage various stakeholders and to partner across the organization

  • Ability to work effectively with different partners outside the organization

  • Fluent in English is a must


 


Nice to Have



  • Experience working in the field of SPINE is a plus

  • Any other European language will be an advantage

  • Outgoing and confident

  • Strong team player but also able to work autonomously

  • Can do attitude
