Senior DevOps Engineer

Are you interested in the topic of DevOps and would like to combine "Development" with "Operations" and work with new technologies such as Docker and Openshift? Do you want to work in a very interesting environment in close cooperation with various business units such as the Swiss Stock Exchange or Financial Information? We are looking for a bright, dedicated team player to join our team. You will be providing hands-on support to help drive our centralized development tools services to the next level. The role will be based at our Zurich office. You will also be working closely with our internal and external partners.

What You Will Do

• Play an important role in further developing and automating our services in an exciting Docker/Openshift environment in an agile team


• Contribute to engineering projects to deliver DevOps topics such as deploying CI/CD pipelines, automating and supporting agile processes within development teams


• Taking part of the software development in the area of a central automation project


• Consulting, training and 3rd level support within the entire application development processes we support.

What You Bring

• Completed professional training and higher professional training in computer science (FH, fidg. diploma)


• Solid and experience in software development and CI/CD 


• Proven experience in the Docker environment. Know-how in the area of Openshift/Kubernetes is an advantage


• Good Unix/Linux knowledge and experience in shell scripting.


• Knowledge of tools/frameworks around the development process such as GIT or Bitbucket, Artifactory, Jenkins, Bamboo, Jira, Splunk.


• Communicative, flexible, proactive personality and team player in an agile environment.
