An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and diverse team in the Investment Banking division in Zurich and be responsible for managing its support and administrative functions, working directly with the head of Swiss Debt Capital Markets and senior and junior bankers. The role encompasses:


 



  • Organizing international and domestic travel, including booking flights, hotels, transfers, transportation, restaurants and preparing visa applications

  • Running the expense management of the team, including submitting expense reports, payment of invoices and processing transaction related expenses

  • Managing team members’ calendars and absence & holiday reporting; monitoring block leave requirement and time management

  • On-boarding new employees and interns with respect to setting up workspaces, requesting IT access rights and applications. Overseeing access rights to the DCM and other restricted areas

  • Organizing client meetings and events (commemorative lunches and dinners) and internal meetings and conference calls

  • Assisting the team in various functions such as document archiving, maintaining a client address database, stationary and material management, subscription to trade magazines, etc.

  • Generally taking an active interest in the activities of the team and proactively contributing to all its support tasks 


 


You Offer

 

  • A commercial apprenticeship or equivalent education combined with prior extensive work experience as an assistant

  • You are willing to be a dynamic and flexible team member with strong organisational skills and the ability to deliver quality work with high attention to detail

  • You can handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • You can work independently and take initiative

  • You are a dedicated problem solver with a positive personality and “yes I can” attitude

  • You have well-developed social skills and can handle different personalities and stress well

  • Fluent language skills in English and German (written and verbal), further languages an advantage

  • Strong MS-Office knowledge and proficiency with on-line processes and applications
