As Consumer and Data science Specialist you will be responsible for Increasing the data driven and consumer centric capabilities that are core to Nespresso.
You will also Develop and manage product portfolio analysis based on coffee superiority.
Manage the product portfolio sensory analysis from data collection, data analysis to actions, recommendation and follow up.
• As a consumer champion, foster the use of advance methodologies and of the coffee superiority initiative in the markets
- Promote the usage of preference mapping in the markets and zones and guide on how to set up
- Manage relationships with preferred external suppliers / agencies.
- Recommend, set, analyze and report consumer & data studies.
- Follow how results are leveraged in the markets).
• As a data scientist, develop data analysis methodology and tool to support sensory and consumers activities
- Run preference mapping, meta-analysis on latest studies
- Develop a tool for Meta-Analysis together with CSI and IT teams
- Establish action plan in collaboration with coffee and marketing team.
- Support sensory and consumer projects requiring advanced statistical analysis
- Manage the development of statistical tool to speed up data analysis process within the team when needed.
• Become coffee sensory expert
- Acquire understanding of Nespresso coffee ranges.
- Develop coffee tasting abilities and participate to Nespresso Expert panel.
- Guide coffee development of some of the SKUs when appropriate (from Coffee brief to production).
• Contribute to Nestlé Sensory & Consumer network as well as the Nestlé Data science Network:
- Participate to the annual meeting and webinars bringing the voice of the Coffee Team.
- Help in designing and building of future data collection and treatment platforms.
• Master Degree in statistic or strong experience in data handling, analysis and computer skills.
• Good Knowledge of the food, flavor or beverage industry.
• Track record Experience with consumer data handling is an asset (i.e. preference mapping).
• Excellent Organizational skills
• Excellent Communications skills and ability to Motivate others
• Excellent use of statistical tools: excellent mastership of R R coding and development of applications using R shiny, proficiency in Power BI.
• Good IT knowledge.
• Excellent spoken and written English is a must have.
