Responsibilities & Profile


Your contribution to KPMG



  • Address informal consultations regarding regulatory and financial insurance topics & tools (FINMA Regulations, KPMG Audit Methodology, KPMG Clara Workflow, Materiality, Sampling, Group Audits, Standardization)

  • Support the Insurance Partner's in addressing formal consultations regarding regulatory and financial insurance topics from engagement teams

  • Coaching engagement teams in aspects of insurance financial and regulatory topics & tools

  • Development of content for insurance trainings (e.g. local office trainings, Manager Meetings)

  • Development/update of insurance regulatory and financial audit templates

  • Manage a limited number of audit engagements


This is what makes you successful



  • Swiss Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification would be an asset

  • At least 4-5 years of experience in internal or external audit with focus on insurance industry

  • High interest in learning and developing

  • Ability to think out-of-the-box, as the underlying issue may not be what engagement teams think it is

  • High level of customer-centricity, with the customer being the audit practice

  • Team player with high ambitions

  • Stamina and perseverance in driving audit quality

  • Fluent in German and English, French would be an asset
