The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) AG is a joint venture company established with the purpose of planning, developing and building the TAP natural gas pipeline. TAP’s shareholding is comprised of BP (20%), SNAM (20%), SOCAR (20%), Fluxys (19%), Enagás (16%) and Axpo (5%).
In our finance department at TAP, we are recruiting a Financial Controller for our headquarters, in Baar. The Financial Controller will take responsibility for the Interface between Project Control and Finance. The candidate will ensure consistency and completeness of the reported numbers and will ensure Senior Management and Shareholders an independent review of project related capital expenditures.
You will be responsible for
Control:
- Provides independent analysis and checks & balances function on the use of financial resources.
- Challenging Variation Requests
- Ensuring consistency between SAP and PIMS
- Supporting accrual process
Reporting:
- Ensuring consistent and transparent reporting towards shareholders and financing parties
- Delivering and presenting monthly detailed reporting to TAP Management, Shareholders and other Stakeholders, e.g. Lenders
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Coordinating baseline updates
- Consolidating all numbers for Budget Approval
- Communicating budget and forecasts to the shareholders / financing parties
- Ensure accurate cash-planning
- Collaborate with Project Finance, Tax and Accounting to quantify the effect of forecast changes on project finance and taxes.
- Provide budget approval for commitments.
Project:
- Finance interface Change Board meetings
- Support Claim Management
- Ensure objective consistency between project progress, cost, risk and contingency.
In order to execute on these responsibilities, we would strongly prefer candidates that have already gained experience in the responsibilities outlined above. Our ideal candidate should have gained the experience necessary in this role by displaying the following attributes:
- at least 10 years finance experience and strong knowledge of financial instruments
- profound experience working in projects
- strong presentation and communication skills
- ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
- takes initiative and can work independently
- flexible and service minded
- team player with experience working in a multicultural environment
- ideally PMP certification or similar
- very good knowledge in SAP knowledge
- proficient in English, German a plus
