Junior Electronics Engineer


In a multidisciplinary team of electrical and microsystems engineers, you will contribute to the concept, the design, the development and the maintenance of electronic circuits and digital logic components. The developed solutions are in use globally to support the entire lifecycle of all Sonova hearing instruments and products. From the engineering to the prototyping and manufacturing phases, you will be engaged in delivering high quality products and support.


 


Your tasks


 


•    Contribute to the development and maintenance of the FPGA based prototyping system
•    Contribute to the ASIC development activities (requirement, specification & verification)
•    Support electrical verification for IC industrialization including reliability, qualification & testing 
•    Support Sonova sites globally for the deployed HW infrastructure
•    Test and tuning/trimming of ICs and electronic modules (engineering and small manufacturing lots)


 


Your profile


 


•    Bachelor degree (FH) in electronics or equivalent
•    Junior experienced in FPGA design (VHDL/Verilog) and some experience in PCB design (Altium or similar) is a plus
•    Hands-on experience in electronic circuit design (including soldering, measurement equipment and debugging)
•    Knowledge of Python or similar programming languages, and of Linux Workstation, of CAE tools and of basic System
     Administration skills is a plus
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and willing to support peer developers
•    Fluent in written and spoken English, fluency in German is a plus
