Joining our interdisciplinary team, you play a key role in further developing our Customer Experience Monitoring, one of the flagship products of the Data, Analytics, and AI division. Together, we are shaping the future of customer experience by organizing Swisscom's knowledge graph to empower engineering and customer support teams with accessible analytics and insights. Our tools are based on cutting-edge technology and support Swisscom to operate the best network.



You are deeply involved in all phases of product development. This includes developing, testing, operating, automating, user research, and monitoring services with end-to-end responsibility. In addition to working with graph data, you build and evolve data processing pipelines, and you analyze data to extract actionable insights. Collaborating with engineers and data scientists, you implement and maintain highly scalable applications. Our well-established bottom-up culture with flat hierarchies makes you thrive.

Why you succeed



  • Solid software engineering skills in Java, Python, and Bash

  • Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Kafka Streams, Spring Boot, Jupyter notebooks

  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud/monitoring technologies (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Artifactory, Bitbucket)

  • Know-how of API development with RESTful API best practices

  • Basic knowledge of Neo4j graph database internals, querying mechanisms, and efficient graph algorithms

  • Strong penchant for automation and knowledge of related tools (e.g. Ansible)

  • Skilled in real-time, event-driven, streaming application development

  • Comfortable with graph data modelling, and continuously building and deploying container-based micro-services

  • Problem-solver with strong analytical skills, happy to engage with different stakeholders

  • Very good English; German, Swiss German or French a plus
