Background:
On behalf of our client we are looking for someone very experienced to help our customer create maximum value from data that they manage in their Umbrella landscape. In particular the data managed by the company applications, that address the root causes of issues with transparency of sample lifecycle and chain of custody management and the root causes of low data quality by harmonizing, automating and integrating the process in which clinical sample and biomarker data is acquired and integrated.
Main tasks:
Ability to work with large amounts of information and see the 'bigger picture'/story telling
Manage a small team and deal with stakeholders
Ensure data visualization standards and explore new, cutting-edge tools are established
Develop intuitive and attractive static and interactive data visualizations together with the team
Distill quantitative and qualitative data to communicate compelling stories to diverse audiences
Responsible for the development of different types of visualization products
Qualification and Experience:
University degree in IT or similar background
Project Management/ Stakeholder Management skills
+5 years experience as a Lead database expert (including data visualization)
Experience with data visualization tools, such as D3.js, HTML Canvas etc.
Strong analytical skills combined with conceptual thinking and structured working style
Ability to work in a multicultural geographically distributed team
