Job Responsibilities


 


As IT trainer:



  • Deliver training on various IT topics to our employees

  • Manage and keep our IT Training platform up to date

  • Support the rollout of new IT Services and/or Applications, creating and keeping tailored IT training material up to date

  • Provide tailored training to Idorsia VIPs and top management

  • Assist with onboarding of new users, performing newcomer IT training and IT equipment setup/handover


 


As Onsite supporter:



  • Provide Onsite IT support to Idorsia VIPs and top management

  • Contribute in global client lifecycle (laptop/desktop/mobile devices), from staging of clients to IMAC (Install, Move, Add and Change) and decommission/retirement

  • Support the roll-out of clients and applications, help troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults

  • Contribute to Meeting Room & Printer support, setting up and managing lifecycle of meeting room and printing IT equipment

  • Ensure IT tickets and Onsite support documentation are updated at all times until issues are resolved and escalate unresolved incidents/service requests within agreed timelines




Candidate’s Requirements


 



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience, preferably minimum 3 years in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Three or more years of experience as an IT Trainer

  • Three or more years of experience in an Onsite Support Technician Role (staging, IMAC/RD, break-fix, meeting room, printer)

  • Three or more years of experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing system (ITSM tool)

  • Profound knowledge of Microsoft OS as well as an extensive general IT understanding

  • Very good interpersonal skills: team player, highly self-motivated, autonomous, proactive, user oriented, open to change, ability to work in a dynamic team

  • Strong customer focus, ability to work with VIPs

  • Strong writing / documentation / communication skills

  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences

  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical regulations within GxP environments is a plus

  • Knowledge of current IT Service Management processes (ITIL v3) is a plus

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), French and/or German is a plus
