As Flavourist Assistant in Givaudan, you will work for a company that touches billions of consumers more than a hundred times a day. As a member of our Regional Innovation Savoury team, Taste &Wellbeing Europe, you will work within our creation team supporting the Flavourists. This position is based in Kemptthal in our Innovation Center. You will report directly to the Team leader Creation/Principal Flavourist.

This position is hired through an external agency on an unlimited temporary contract.

You Will:

• Assist the Flavourists in managing the project pipeline


• Compound Flavour formulae with speed and accuracy as directed by Flavourists


• Help apply Flavours for evaluation


• Prepare Lab and QC reference samples


• Label and Ship Flavour samples to customers and other Givaudan sites


• Enter and retrieve data using database software


• Receive and control raw materials and control stocks in Laboratory carefully maintaining shelf life


• Maintain a clean laboratory environment following EH&S guidelines and good laboratory practices

You Have:

• Education as a Laboratory technician or similar


• 1+ years experience in a food, chemistry or pharma lab, production or related area


• Basic knowledge of lab equipment and handling chemicals used to perform lab functions


• Interest in Flavour creation and savoury products including interest in tasting


• A good sense of taste and smell


• Proficiency in using common PC applications


• Working knowledge in English
