Within your role you support a product related project in our competence area of tribology and in close collaboration with our R&D staff. Tribology is one of Hilti’s key competences to ensure outlasting and outperforming Hilti products. In this project you support our colleagues in our Innovation Center in Schaan by testing and investigating mechanical machine elements like seals, gears and bearings. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to contribute with your ideas to our future gear concepts and work together with our experienced engineers on innovative products.

You will support our tribology team in developing and testing mechanical machine elements for Hilti tools, which are operating under extremely harsh conditions. Your responsibility will not just be planning, but also the preparation and execution of tests. During this internship, you will also be involved in the development loops with our suppliers and R&D engineers.
Together with your team, you will be responsible for interpreting and presenting achieved results in different meetings. At the end of your stay, your findings must be documented in form of a technical report.
