CROSS-BORDER OFFICER
Mission:
Work in a team that is the central point of contact for all matters related to cross-border activities. Your main responsibilities will include:
Maintain and update the cross-border country manuals and e-learnings for Private Clients Business,
Work closely with internal and external teams involved in the launch/update of cross-border country manuals and e-learnings,
Provide cross-border advice to internal clients within Private Clients,
Lead/participate in cross-border remediation and enhancement projects,
Support or design operational procedures, controls and tools as part of the 1st Line of Defense control framework,
Participate in effective management of cross-border risks by identifying, evaluating and escalating risks where appropriate, and working with stakeholders to formulate robust solutions; this includes defining specifications for operational systems and controls,
Performing cross-border controls,
Work in close collaboration with the Business Risk Managers of the Markets.
Desired Profile:
Minimum 3 years of experience in Cross-border, Risk, Compliance, or Audit, in the Banking and Finance industries. Additional experience in the front would be a plus,
Flexibility and capability of engaging across diverse functions, locations and businesses,
Able and willing to work within a fast-paced, pressured and demanding environment,
Strong interpersonal skills,
Ability to demonstrate personal initiative, ownership and accountability,
Ability to work independently and understand when to seek advice or guidance from peer or management,
French as mother tongue and fluency in English (written and oral); German will be an advantage,
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office tools.
