Senior Investment Advisor, Digital Investing

Your opportunity

• Shape the overall vision and direction of the business as a member of the leadership team of the Digital Investing client unit.


• Define, design and evolve the vision and roadmap of the investment offering strategy for our new innovative B2C platform for affluent clients; the offering will include discretionary and advisory mandates, Vontobel and 3rd party funds, AMCs, thematic investments and other structured products.


• Define the philosophy and process for best in class selection of investment products and solutions


• Working with our investment boutiques to structure innovative and quant-driven investment solutions ("mass customisation").


• Source and “buy in” top quality and relevant investment products from third party providers.


• Lead the implementation and roll-out of the investment offering (incl. fund structures).


• Own the performance of the investment offering and build a market leading track record that stands out against peers and benchmarks.


• Adjust the client offering to our client / market needs over time


• This is an individually contributing role on day 1 with the mandate to build and manage a team as the business grows.

 

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of the portfolio management process from strategy to implementation, strong expertise in portfolio construction and a proven track record over a full market cycle.


• Experience with different asset classes (incl. equity, fixed income, commodities and FX) with alternative asset classes a plus (PE, VC, crypto, structured products). Ability to judge the attractiveness of asset classes and sub-asset classes in a structured framework


• Strong understanding of quant driven investment strategies.


• Experience and interest in utilising AI in the selection and design of investment solutions. 


• Excellent communicator with the ability to formulate investment rationales in publications and presentations


• Great interdisciplinary, analytical and problem solving skills, and a data-driven mindset


• Insights and appreciation of what investment offering our target audiences (affluent clients) need and a passion for technology and its use to address pain points
