Our Transportation and Industrial business (T&I) is looking for a Senior R&D Chemist (m/f/d) to be based in Freienbach.


ROLE DEFINITION


Your key responsibilities will be:



  • Development of epoxy resin formulations for use in the automotive industry

  • Development of a product portfolio with a time window of one year

  • Development of IP

  • Documentation of results in reports and stage gate reviews

  • Partnering with car makers and their Tiers

  • Presentations to customers

  • Aligned to exiting lightweight RD organization under its current Technology Leader

Job Qualification


A successful candidate must have:



  • Several years of experience in formulating epoxy resins for electronic applications with special focus on electric motor applications for passenger cars

  • Holds a PhD in Chemistry

  • Team player, strong interpersonal skills are required

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in German and English

  • Results oriented and strong customer focused


Skills desirable but not mandatory are:



  • Ability to interact at multiple levels including senior management
