The Global Commercial Excellence team develops and orchestrates strategic capabilities to guide markets in the creation of their Commercial Strategy with mutually beneficial Business Aspirationsfor Patients, HealthSystems and our Company through a robust understanding of Customers and Influencers within an entire ecosystem or market.


Over the last year we launched the first iteration of the “L3” commercial excellent framework across our Company's Human Health Enterprise so commercial leaders could begin working in a new way with cross functional interdisciplinary to build their strategies to meet needs of patients, health systems and our Company.


The Director of Global Commercial Excellence – Growth Planning would lead the iteration of the commercial strategic framework L3 for our Company across Global Pharma, Vaccines and Oncology and into all the markets through Human Health.


Key Responsibilities will include:



  • Lead iteration of our new commercial strategic framework L3f, or our growth products across Pharm, Vaccines and Oncology.


  • Partnering with Global teams and Local Markets and assessing the current challenges of developing strategies and iterating our commercial framework.


  • Launching the new capabilities of the L3 Commercial Excellence Framework across Human Health.


  • Collaborating with the Commercial Insights Analytics and Data team to ensure the most progressive techniques are leveraged into the development of our commercial strategies.



Education Minimum Requirement: 



  • Bachelor's Degree


  • MBA preferred



Required Experience and Skills: 



  • Minimum of three (3) years combined experience in marketing, commercial strategy/strategic planning, market research, sales, or marketing/sales support



Preferred Experience and Skills:



  • Experience in developing marketing strategies and launching new products and/or new indications


  • Experience leading diverse teams in a solid line and/or matrix environment


  • Successful commercial experience leading brands across therapeutic areas


  • Strong US customer knowledge and the ability to focus on customers and patients when making decisions


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


  • Strong organizational and project management skills


  • Strong collaboration skills (demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and cross-divisionally and lead teams to get work done); experience interfacing with colleagues in global marketing, manufacturing, regulatory, and finance


  • Developed understanding of US vaccines market


  • Understanding of US commercial and regulatory requirements


  • Experience working on digital initiatives
