Celonic is a privately owned Contract Development Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) with two state-of-the-art sites located at Basel, Switzerland (headquarters) and Heidelberg, Germany.

Celonic provides comprehensive GMP development and manufacturing services for New Biological Entities (NBEs) and Biosimilars, as well as Cell & Gene Therapy associated services worldwide. Their portfolio includes the development of cell lines, production processes, as well as non-GMP and GMP manufacturing of biopharmaceutical drug substances and drug product. Currently there are over 350 highly qualified employees working at the two sites of Celonic. Because of the expansion of the company, Celonic is looking for dedicated and qualified employees.

To support our Developmental Departments at our Basel site (Switzerland) we are looking for a

  

Laboratory Manager (f/m/d)

 

 Your area of responsibility: 

• Regarding safety, biosafety and leanness of Developmental Laboratories


• Support sourcing, qualification and maintenance of laboratory devices


• Ordering and issuing of materials and consumables in SAP software platform


• Organizing warehouse (SAP) and device inventories


• Coordination of external service engineers and local facility management


• Management of potential laboratory refurbishments and related change controls


• Hygiene management for BSL1 and BSL2 laboratories


• Training of new employees and visitors in safety and biosafety regulations


• Support picket service of device alarms


• Implementation of lean laboratory management (e.g. 5S)


• Interfacing to Supply Chain Management, Qualification Engineering, Quality Assurance and Maintenance teams


• Organizing laboratory related safety or quality audits

 

Your skills & qualification:

• Excellent coordinating and organizational skills


• Basic knowledge of SAP software platform


• Knowledge of biological safety requirements, especially Swiss regulations


• Good understanding of Lean and Quality Management systems


• Experience in 5S Laboratory Management System is an advantage


• Experience in GMP/GLP environment is an advantage


• Good Knowledge in MS Excel


• Empathic and solution oriented personality with sound communication skills


• Proven capabilities in working in interdisciplinary and international teams


• Very good English and German skills


• Scientific background is an advantage
