THE OPPORTUNITY
Identify and scale digital marketing use cases and capabilities realization with equal focus at a market level and at a global franchise level
Solidify a strong omnichannel digital foundation and continue to drive maturity of digital marketing across global markets and franchises
Expand structured experimentation like marketing hub operations to drive marketing effectiveness, process improvement and productivity across markets and global franchises
In this role, you will help our Company make strategic decisions with digital, data, and analytics to ensure that we are best-placed to bring our innovations to customers and patients.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
A key member of the Digital Marketing Operations team, embedded within the global Digital Marketing and Commercial Excellence cohort, you will lead cross-functional expert and commercial teams (IT, Marketing, SFE and other expertise as needed) to identify digital execution priorities per key market and deliver an integrated digital, data, and analytics realization roadmap.
Scale digital marketing use cases and capabilities for key markets and global franchises to deliver industry leading customer engagement
Solidify the digital foundation and grow the maturity of markets across digital marketing, remote interactions, virtual events, content operations and own the global customer experience digital roadmap
Define and track meaningful KPIs to enable markets to demonstrate tangible results of the omni-channel customer outreach and engagement strategy
Lead and align with key markets on structured in-depth analyses of customer level engagement and other data sets across several channels to discover insights and make recommendations and decisions about engagement and channel choices
Engage key global markets in realization of marketing automation, content operations, virtual events and other digital marketing capabilities with sponsorship from market leadership teams
Ensure leaders and managers have the knowledge and capacity to coach, develop, and scale Digital marketing and customer engagement teams.
Collaborate with global, regional and market-based change management and communications teams to grow digital communities of practices and encourage sharing of best practices.
Establish and implement the governance for Dx Fitness sessions and other forums as required and monitor the progress on use case sharing, implementation and results
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
To be successful in this role, you will have strong technical skills as well as business capabilities.
Digital marketing: Strong experience in leading digital marketing and operations projects across various channels and capabilities, with subject matter expertise in Marketing and Digital, ideally in pharma or healthcare.
Business acumen: Ability to synthesize data/insights into actionable business recommendations as well as successful management experience in different departments, including sales and marketing in a pharmaceutical or other comparable large organization.
Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally and cross-regionally with various business units and senior leaders. A highly collaborative working style is required, with the ability to influence and lead change while building strong cross-functional partnerships. You must also be a creative thinker, with confidence and ability to challenge established thinking.
Change management skills: Strong ability to demonstrate change management skills with ability to lead, advocate, influence, and collaborate across various functions at all levels. You must have strong project and people management skills, with iIntellectual curiosity and the ability to create a vision as well as execute complex initiatives in matrix structures.
Education Minimum Requirements:
BA or BS degree from an accredited university.
Master’s degree preferred.
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 7 years of Digital Marketing operations experience preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
Deep knowledge and understanding of digital, data and analytics practices, policies, trends, and other information affecting the company’s business in global markets
Strong track record of developing and implementing global integrated digital marketing outcomes and commercial programs, including developing business cases and investment recommendations.
Proven execution skills, with the ability to ensure an agile, collaborative, and high-performance ways of working.
Experience leading in matrix structures, with a strong capability to engage with and influence others.
Ability to direct the resolution of highly complex business challenges.
Interest and understanding of the needs of diverse customer groups, including physicians, consumers, payors, policymakers, and others.
Capability to synthesize data and insights from global franchises and markets to translate them into recommendations for in market execution.
Fluent in spoken and written English, with the ability to operate in a multicultural environment.
