To strengthen our Sales team, we are looking for a tech-savvy Sales Engineer(m/f/d) to assist with selling 1plusX’s complex and compelling product and services. We are looking for outstanding people! The Sales Engineer's responsibilities include maintaining extensive knowledge of the products' parts, functions, and processes and assisting in closing sales where technical expertise may be required to fit the clients' needs.


About the role



  • You prepare and develop technical presentations to explain our company's product or services to customers.

  • You coordinate and support prospect RFP processes.

  • You discuss use cases and requirements with customers and our product management team.

  • You collaborate with our sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.

  • You solicit and log client feedback, and you evaluate the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.

  • You train other sales team members on the technical aspects of our product and services.

  • You identify areas for improvement and find possible solutions.


About you



  • To be successful as a Sales Engineer, you should possess an in-depth knowledge of our technical product and services. You can relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers. 

  • You have at least 3+ years of professional sales- and SaaS experience in a similar position within the Data, Advertising, and/or Media industry.

  • You are passionate about software technology, and you understand software development either from a background in Computer Science / Engineering or from equivalent practical experience in technology or digital-related sales engineering or consulting.

  • You have excellent technical, sales, and customer service skills.

  • With your profound analytical expertise, you quickly understand customer-specific use cases and how our product can add value.

  • You are driven to achieve your sales goals. 

  • You communicate business fluently in English and German or French; any other language is an asset.
