Johnson Electric Group is the definite leader in micro motors, motion subsystems and actuators for automotive and industrial applications. Our motion solutions adjust car seats and headlamps, run vacuum cleaners and power drills as well as 300 other applications worldwide. We are the safe choice for our clients.

Due to the expansion of our plant in Murten, Switzerland, and to support our SCS team we are looking for an :

Indirect buyer (100%)

Tasks:

• Source and locate the appropriate suppliers for Indirect Material and Services


• Develop Prefered supplier to meet cost, quality and co-operation targets


• Manage commodities negotiating with supplier within defined strict band with, including clarification of delivery and service obligations


• Day to day supplier management within a clearly set framework


• Release and approve Purchase Orders (PO) according to company internal regulations and EU HQ guidelines


• Follow defined strategies to achieve objectives;

Requirements

• Degree in business administration, buyer’s swiss apprenticeship or equivalent


• Min. 3 years of professional experience in indirect material purchasing


• Wide knowledge in handling different commodities issues


• Very good english business language skills (spoken and written) ; good knowledge of German or French: a plus


• Excellent negotiation skills and assertiveness


• Highly responsible, emphatic, compliant with respective company regulations


• Intercultural competence
