As a member of Group Technology, a transversal department responsible for developing the next generation of Bobst digital products and services offering, you will contribute to shape the digitization of Bobst’s offering. As a Business Analyst, your role will be to translate functional needs from the business into actionable items to be developed.
You will work with cross-functional teams and in close collaboration with Product Owners to ensure coherence with the solution and specifications to be implemented. Main responsibilities:
You drive or support workshops with the product lines to identify relevant functional needs to be translated in requirements for the development teams
You define frameworks, tools and templates to efficiently analyze and document business needs
You perform in-depth analysis to support the software development teams to identify the relevant tools, standards or concept to be used
You prepare the specifications of the stories to be implemented by the software development team
You participate to the Sprint review and planning to build solutions as a team
You review and validate that the solutions are consistently implemented according to the specifications
Education, work experience & computing skills:
You have a master’s degree issued from a leading university such (EPFL, ETHZ, etc.), ideally in an engineering field
You have a proven professional experience in digital consulting, consulting firm or in a software development company
You have a proven work experience with agile and DevOps practices
Ideally, you have experience in the packaging industry
You are familiar with Microsoft Azure DevOps
You have a good understanding of software development practices for front and back-ends
You have experience in Cloud “native” platform (Microsoft Azure, possibly AWS) and serverless concepts
Ideally, you have experience in IoT development
Language & personal attributes:
French or English mother tongue, the other at C1 level minimum
You are curious, you love to discover an understand new industries and process
You have a strong analytical mindset combined with a good business orientation
You are profoundly solution oriented; you understand high-level ambition and know-how to translate them into low-level requirements
You are open-minded and pro-active
You enjoy working in teams, from shop floor workers to software development engineers
You have good communications skills; you can show empathy
Ability to explain complex technical topics to non-specialists, with strong understanding of industry-related constraints, needs and vocabulary
You prepare and present comprehensive and scalable analysis to key stakeholders in the organization
You are comfortable with ambiguity

The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is also the headquarters of the Bobst Group. It is the most important site, employing approx. 1500 passionate people.

It offers many amenities, such as a corporate restaurant, sports fields, a fitness and a nursery. The facilities have been recently renovated and represent a model for sustainable development.
