Teamlead Product Care
Your responsibilities
Teamlead
Manage employee activities to meet organizational goals
Manage performance of employees; including performance reviews
Manage and plan personnel resources; including recruiting new employees
Prioritize projects and work packages
Ensure timely delivery of work outputs
Report on project status and key metrics
Develop and manage the cost center budget
Engage with Product Development to ensure efficient and effective transfer of projects from Development to Lifecycle Management
Comply with Medela policies and procedures; with a focus on Lifecycle Management processes
Comply with international laws, standards, and guidelines
Technical Tasks
Subject matter expertise for supported products, including design intent, manufacturing processes, materials, etc.
Technical review and approval of employee work outputs to ensure the quality of the work outputs.
Technical support of business stakeholders, such as Product Marketing, Quality, Operations, etc. in identifying product enhancements (PIP/CIP)
Planning and execution of product enhancements, i.e. Change Control Management
Develop specialist technical competencies of employees; including coaching and training
Travel to support the Teamlead and Technical tasks approximately 10% annually
Your qualifications
Bachelor or Master’s degree in a technical / scientific discipline, preferably Mechanical Engineering
Preferably further training in business administration or leadership of employees
Minimum 5 years of experience as an engineer, preferably in product lifecycle management or product development
Desirable experience in a highly regulated environment, preferably in medical devices or technology
Minimum 2 years of experience in leading and managing personnel and/or teams
Knowledge and experience of Product Lifecycle Management preferred
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, assembly, and materials
Knowledge of international standards, particularly of medical and consumer devices
Fluency in English (written and spoken, including technical terms); fluency in German desirable
