Cytiva is looking for an intern in Software development, who will be working in Eysins (Switzerland) and be part of our R&D team developing medical devices and manufacturing equipment aiming to process biological cells in the field of blood transplantation and cellular therapies.
Under the leadership of the R&D team, the successful candidate will work on building a framework for application testing, which will support application development. Then we would love to hear from you.
What you’ll do
The software intern will be involved in developing a new testing framework improving application development process
To build up a framework for complex state machine testing
To understand state machine functionality and scripting
To get familiarity with testing frameworks (NUnit and Moq)
To establish a routine for automated state machine testing
Simulation of hardware data acquisition and error situation to create test scenarios based on on-field data
To enable automation testing with continuous integration
Who you are
Master’s degree or in final year Master studies in related scientific fields (computer science, software engineering)
Good programming skills in C#, programming scripting languages (e.g python) and markup language (XML) a plus
Familiarity with automated based programming and testing
Experience with biological system is a plus
Team Player, Ownership, Detailed oriented
Comfortable in English, French is a plus
Duration and Deliverables
Project duration: 4 to 6 months
Starting date: as soon as possible
Deliverables: The candidate must define project specifications, realize the design and related documentation including the final report, and at minimum an intermediate and final presentation in front of the R&D team
